Everyday Good Mood Incense – Room No. 11

The first thing you notice and sometimes the only thing you remember: the fragrance of a room, an autumn, a picnic, a night. Some of those are the unique scent-prints of a person or a place, but some are more readily replicated: garden rasji, Terre d’Homme, your grandmother’s khoresh-e sabzi or indeed Collins Life Incense.

Hand-made by a renowned South Korean incense artisan who has been perfecting his craft for a quarter of a century, these incense sticks differ from others in that they contain only wood and oil, eschewing the usual bamboo core and synthetic adhesives. Combined with the traditional South Korean manufacturing technique used – ‘Sun-hyang’- these ingredients ultimately produce less soot and a healthier, subtler cloud of enchanting woody smoke.

The five scents available range from mellow to refreshing, but all can be relied upon to summon a good mood into being. With 70 sticks packed into a colourful pocket-sized tin, that good mood can be transported wherever you like; light one up at your party, office or living room to leave your guests with the mark of a moment they won’t soon forget.
