The Kutsuwa T’Gaal sharpener has been a classic since 1993. Turn the dial to choose one of five point lengths, from short and sturdy for coloured pencils to long and sharp for hard graphite, then close it to keep shavings out of your bag. Kutsuwa began as an Osaka stationery wholesaler in 1910, and the name T’Gaal comes from the Japanese word for tapering to a point.
